The Inclusion Schedule is a planning and accountability tool used to organize and document special education support within general education classrooms. It outlines which special education teacher and/or paraprofessional is assigned to each general education class that includes students with IEPs, by period.
The purpose of the Inclusion Schedule is to:
Ensure IEP services and supports are delivered as written
Provide clarity and consistency for staff assignments
Support equitable distribution of personnel
Allow administrators to monitor inclusion support and compliance
Serve as a reference for sub coverage, schedule changes, and IEP meetings
